Originally from Kentucky, James Fritz is a comedian who is strong as moonshine yet soothing as a Sunday morning. After ruining his credit score in Chicago, he made his way to sunny Los Angeles to kinda tolerate the West Coast lifestyle. Before leaving, he was named “Best Stand-up” by the Chicago Reader. The Chicago Tribune called his comedy “a seamless blend of humor, honesty and fearlessness.” He was featured at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs in Chicago, Crom Fest, and The Fest in Gainesville. Since moving to LA, he has performed all over town including The Meltdown, The Hollywood Improv, Put Your Hands Together at UCB, and is a co-host of the long-running, much-beloved bar show Babe Island. His debut album, "Still Together," was released last year by ASpecialThing Records.
