From Chicago, 26-year-old Andy Kushnir has been performing comedy in some capacity for the past four years. Born in Italy, lived in the Bay Area, Chicago, Morgantown (WV), Bloomington (IN) and Tel Aviv, Andy’s reference base doesn’t make any sense. He’s traveled the Midwest with the sketch group Jeremy, studied and performed at iO Chicago and the Second City, and writes his own fake travel blog at latersusa.wordpress.com where he pretends to travel the world but all the pictures are from his parents house. He’s performed at Chicago Sketchfest, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Shadowbox Live’s Columbus BREWHAHA with celebrity judge Garrett Morris, and Jokes & Notes. His comedy idol is Mel Brooks because it reminds him of his family and childhood. He has a beard to make him not look like a baby, but also to keep the troll at bay.
