Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, John relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue his dream of becoming a Hollywood screenwriter. On a dare from a friend, he attended an open mic, and instantly fell in love with stand-up. These days, he has turned to writing and performing comedy full time, and has since completed two full length screenplays entitled "Sex Addicts" and "Cabbie." A self-proclaimed workaholic; when he is not writing or performing, he is can be found taking cat naps, dreaming up his next project.
