After Mallie completed her studies with The Piven Theater (Chicago, IL), The American Players' Theater (Spring Green, WI), and Chapman University (Orange, CA), she turned her focus toward comedy. In 2012, Mallie was signed with Parallel Entertainment with sketch group The Crooked Rooks and has had sketches featured on Cracked.com and in various comedy festivals around Los Angeles.
For the past 5 years, she has studied short and long form improv at UCB, Second City Hollywood, and Comedy Sportz LA. In 2014 she began doing stand-up and has accrued professional writing credits with Parallel Entertainment, Axial Entertainment, and Adolescent Productions. Mallie continues to perform on a regular basis at Comedy Sportz, Second City, and The Nerdist.
She also is the comedy booking manager for Open Space Theater and Cafe, ad currently hosts the open mic there every Thursday at 8:00pm.
