AJ's improv background comes from training and performing with The Groundlings, which included learning and practicing 'long-form improv'. He has additional 'short-form improv training from ComedySportz LA. Besides his improv performances, AJ also performs stand-up and writes sketch comedy. His parody sketch, 'The Walking Dead Fragrance Collection', was selected to screen at the 2015 ScareLA Halloween Convention.
