I was a radio DJ for 20 years. Then decided to get a real job so I became a city planner. The two jobs didn't have much in common but my knowledge of rock music was very helpful when we had to come up with new street names. Being a DJ was more fun but I survived my time as a public servant. Now I spend my time writing comedy and comedic drama. I'm not intentionally cynical, just comes natural, probably a result of when I put a hairpin in a wall outlet and zapped a few million brain cells.
