LaVon Wageman was born in San Diego, California. She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a BFA in Drama. Her other studies include improv with the Upright Citizen Brigade, Atlantic Acting Studio and an internship at the La Jolla Playhouse. She is a professionally trained voice-over actor, singer and dancer; dance ranges from ballet, modern, hip hop and jazz. Her recent credits include MTV's Mary + Jane, College Humor online content, Lilly Singh sketches, and short films. LaVon is commercially represented by Reign's Laura Soo Hoo and managed by Inner Voice Artists' Ina Petersen.
