Kristin got her start 7 years ago as an American doing stand-up in Scotland. While in grad school at the University of Edinburgh pursuing a degree in Applied Linguistics, she joined the sketch comedy group Out of The Window for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival show "Freefall".
Shortly afterward, she returned to her hometown in sunny Albany performing at various venues throughout the Northeast. During her time in Albany, she has performed for Albany Comic Syndrome, Comedy Works, and co-founded Off The Fisticuffs Improv group. In search of better weather, she relocated to LA. She is currently revamping her blog platform kristinwrites.com (launching this fall) and battling with her neighbors for the affection of a stray cat.
