Born and raised in Detroit, Karla’s earliest credits are as writer, producer, director and co-star of The Kamm Girls Funny Show. Some of her comedy idols include Robin Williams, Jim Gaffigan, Carol Burnett and Kristin Wiig. Flappers employees and regulars claim to have seen a doppelganger of Karla named “Sparkle” haunting the club and claiming to be busy getting guests their ranch.
