Skip Everett is stage name of Brian Maggi, a Bay Area writer and comic. He got his start in comedy as the co-creator and humor editor of In Formation Magazine and a sketch writer for Second City in Chicago. Besides comedy his biggest claim to fame is inventor of the Spam filter.
