Originally from Boston, Lindsey Loon has traveled the world but her strong family ties constantly draw her back home. Transplanted to Texas and now LA, she calls her parents daily. She is the product of contrasts: a Southern Hillbilly father and Jewish mother. She majored in East Asian Studies at Yale and fascinated by family dynamics, did six homestays in Japan. She lived overseas for over 10 years and has Australian graduate degrees in International Studies. A trained vocalist and actress, she sang at the Mildura Jazz festival in Australia, trained in film acting at NIDA, and bellyflopped at her dream of being a JPop singer in Japan. Inspired by Rita Rudner, she also loves Sketch comedy and grew up bingeing Saturday Night Live.
