Tara was born and raised in Southern California before her family moved to New Orleans when she was 19. She is a city girl with country qualities. She began her comedy career in late 2015. She bombed her first show but was determined to come back for redemption. Tara returned to the stage a month later and killed it. She is a local Phoenix comedian now. She is heavily influenced by the Richard Pryor, Bernie Mac, Red Fox, DL Hughley, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Wanda Sykes and Mike Epps. Her favorite style of comedy is honesty.
