Salma Hindy is a graduate of Stand Up Comedy from Second City Toronto. With her fast rise to comedy, Salma Hindy has opened for Ken Jeong, Maz Jobrani, performed at Women in Comedy Festival in Boston twice, the Stand Up Round Up Fest in Dallas, the Chicago Women Funny Fest and the Arab-American New York Comedy Festival. Salma has been featured on Refinery29, CBC, Globe and Mail, CityNews and in various magazines and podcasts. Salma finished 2nd place in the 2018 Toronto Comedy Brawl competition with over 400 comedians. She was nominated for the Canadian Notable Life Awards "Stand Up Comedian†and Muslim Awards for Excellence (MAX)'s "Artist of the Year". Salma performed a 12 city UK and a 4 city Australia Super Muslim Comedy Tour. Her comedy flavours range from politics to her experiences as the child of immigrant parents. The only terrorism Salma partakes in is shooting down stereotypes on stage.
