Karla Tofte started her stand up career in her hometown of Seattle after returning from L.A., where she worked as a writers’ assistant on such sitcoms as â€"Malcolm and Eddieâ€, â€"Ask Harriet†and â€"3rd Rock from the Sun.†She also wrote humor pieces for the Los Angeles Times.
She was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Laughs Comedy Club Laugh Off and 2019 Jai Thai Comedy Clash. Most recently she has performed in the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival, was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Plano Comedy Festival Roast Battle, and a Best of Fest Performer in the 2020 Burbank Comedy Festival.
