Bill Word has been doing standup comedy since 1991. Bill has been featured on “ABC’s America’s Funniest People.” You have seen him on NBC, TLC and PBS. Bill starred in a movie “Oceanfront Property”. Bill was a panelist in the 2007 Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He has been featured on National Lampoon Comedy Radio numerous times.
Bill Word has for over 20 years, produced and performed live comedy. He created California’s Funniest Female Contest, Orange County’s Funniest Person Contest, Ultimate Laff-Down and a comedy workshop series that has been attended by hundreds of aspiring comedians. He is known throughout the country, but particularly in Southern California, as a developer of new talent of all ages and an advocate of women in comedy.
