Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more!
Past performers have included Adam Carolla, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Dore, Tom Segura, Christopher Titus, Carol Leifer, Kevin Pollak, and many more.
The Burbank Comedy Festival offers the next generation of talent the opportunity to perform and connect with top entertainment professionals, to encourage the expansion live comedy into the community, and to do some funny business in Downtown Burbank!

Teresa Lo is a writer, comedian, and live event producer. She published the Amazon bestsellers Hell's Game and The Red Lantern Scandals, and her books have been developed for TV and film by companies such as 20th Century Fox, Winkler Films (Wolf of Wall Street), and Haimes Productions (Transformers). As a journalist, her work has appeared in publications such as Yahoo, Popsugar, Buzzfeed, and Hustler Magazine. She has performed standup all over the United States, at places like Laughfest, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Ventura Comedy Festival, and more. She produces live events around Los Angeles, and her fundraiser for the nonprofit RAINN was named a Best of LA event by LAist Magazine.

Denise Winkelman was raised in a small town in Northern Minnesota.
She struggled with her identity, because her father is an Evangelical Pastor and felt she would not be accepted.
After she graduated from college, she decided to try to be masculine and moved to Cincinnati to become a professional wrestler. Where she learned way too much about guys.
She left wrestling to transition from male to female.
As a lifelong fan of comedy, she started stand up in 2017 as a creative outlet and to have a voice.
She is a regular on the Dat Phan and friends showcases.
She has cowritten a dramatic television pilot â€"The Authentic Step”. It was recently named a semi-finalist in the Big Apple Film Festival.
Her unique perspective and experiences will move you to find humor in any tragedy. She is wrestling with transition.

Jen Liv is an actor, comic and singer...who also plays 16 instruments! In the â€"before times” she performed on a Musical House team at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.

During her time in New York City, performed off Broadway and toured with the Little Mermaid. She also performed her original show â€"Oboe You Didn’t” at 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, and Rockwood Music Hall.

She wrote, produced, and starred in the video, 1-900 SPARKLE for Funny or Die. You can also see Jen in the first national ad campaign for the Container Store, where she plays a wife who is dead inside.

She began her career behind the scenes as theAssistant Company Manager for â€"The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.” After moving to Los Angeles, she found work producing short films including â€"Real Violence” and â€"My Guardian Angel.” She also associate produced the short form series â€"Smothered” which is streaming on Amazon Prime. Currently Emily is working on multiple projects through Nonstandard Productions, the company she runs with her husband Pancho. She is a co-founder of the nonprofit Stand-Ups For a Cause, which produces comedy shows to raise money for charitable organizations.

Sean is a writer in LA, who spends his free time baking cookies and crying into soup. Last year, he released a web series called "Ricky Makes a Web Series!" which was an official selection of the Venice Shorts Film Festival in January 2021. Also, the screenplay for his pilot "Party Lines" placed in the semi-finals of the 2021 Screencraft Fellowship.
