Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more! Past performers have included Adam Carolla, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Dore, Tom Segura, Christopher Titus, Carol Leifer, Kevin Pollak, and many more. The Burbank Comedy Festival offers the next generation of talent the opportunity to perform and connect with top entertainment professionals, to encourage the expansion live comedy into the community, and to do some funny business in Downtown Burbank!

PJ Baio is a stand up comedian who isn’t afraid to expose you to his slightly dark sense of humor. A kind of â€"Cynical Superman†he is able to see the light and humor in such dark situations as his mother’s dementia and his wife’s death from cancer, and is somehow able to turn them into hilarious and inspiring stories. Originally from Chicago, this mild mannered comedian creates tasteful humor in dark topics that you don’t often hear from today’s stand up comedians. Rory Meagher grew up in Allentown, PA and he earned his BA in Creative Writing at Susquehanna University. He has studied at the Second City, the Peoples Improv Theater, and UCB. His short stories have been featured in Fourteen Hills, Westwind, and Oatmeal Magazine, among others. His debut short film, "Orientation," was nominated for best performance at the Houston Comedy Film Festival in 2021. got my start out of college directing comedy shorts, my most successful film, Big Breakin’, screened at Best of Fest at Outfest 2012. I’ve written and directed shorts and web series for ABC Studios, the BBC, as well as for several independent live-action and animation production companies. I’ve been performing stand-up comedy in L.A. for the last two years and have gotten to play all over town, including The Comedy Store, Flappers, and the Super Secret Comedy Show at the Lyric Theatre.
