Amanda started doing comedy when she was 17 and before she finished college in Pittsburgh she was showcasing at clubs and colleges across the midwest, including many clubs that don't exist anymore. She studied improv at the Second City Conservatory in Chicago, then an epiphany in 2015 reminded her she was a comedian. After a couple of years in the Chicago scene, she's now based in LA and has showcased at Zanies and The Laugh Factory in Chicago, Flappers in Burbank, and other venues. She can be seen hosting in the Yoo Hoo Room most Sundays. As a feature she opened for Paula Poundstone, Gilbert Gottfried, Jake Johannson, and many non-alliterative comedians as well. Her influences include George Carlin, Albert Brooks, and Dana Gould.
