Sam Mettler moved to LA to become a comedian. He was interrupted. When Reality-TV exploded. Mettler drew upon comedy's alter ego, tragedy, to create what the New York Times called "a significant evolutionary moment in reality television," Intervention. Then he made more heartbreaking series. Sam won awards, including an Emmy. Sam got STUCK. Now after twenty years of working in tragedy, Mettler has taken his broken body back to his first love, stand up comedy. In the past year alone, Sam has been featured in showcases at the Improv, The Comedy Store, Ha Ha, The Ice House,The Ontario Improv, The Rec Room, and of course, Flappers! He’s not limber. He bumps into things with great frequency. But, funny he is. And when you’re not laughing at his comedy, you’re laughing at him like the cool kids did in High School.
