After a few years in LA, in 2006 Joe (Stapes) Stapleton took a summer job as a blogger in the professional poker world. Stapes' unique brand of humor got him fired from his first poker job, and then hired for the next dozen.
In 2009 he landed the syndicated FOX series "The Big Game," as comic relief and color-commentator. Since then he's done a dozen poker shows in over 20 countries around the world.
While living in London, Stapes humor (humour) and presence on UK TV caused him to draw some crowds on the London stand-up circuit. Since then he's performed at clubs in New York (Greenwich/Broadway/Westside), Los Angeles (The Comedy Store & Laugh Factory), and a handful of other countries around the world.
Before COVID he toured the US as the feature for Norm Macdonald and produced/hosted his own monthly standup show in Las Vegas.
