Tom Dolby started doing stand-up about a year ago because he was looking for a side gig with a steady income and no risk of rejection. After only two appearances at Flappers, Tom made it to the Main Room Soup-or-Bowl Finals of Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest in 2021. During the day, Tom is a filmmaker who has written and directed indie films such as the comedy Last Weekend, starring Patricia Clarkson (IFC/Sundance Selects) and the drama The Artist's Wife, starring Lena Olin and Bruce Dern (Strand Releasing). Tom's company, Water's End Productions, funded the development of the Academy Award-winning film Call Me By Your Name. He lives in Los Angeles in a creaky old house with two precocious daughters, two dogs, and two kittens, Boba and Mochi, who are, yes, named after Japanese snacks. IG: @tomdolby
