Every year, top celebrity headlining comedians, and over 200 of the hottest new talent from around the world, converge in Burbank, California for a full week of shows, industry panels, afterparties, classes, and more! Past performers have included Adam Carolla, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Dore, Tom Segura, Christopher Titus, Carol Leifer, Kevin Pollak, and many more. The Burbank Comedy Festival offers the next generation of talent the opportunity to perform and connect with top entertainment professionals, to encourage the expansion live comedy into the community, and to do some funny business in Downtown Burbank!

Renee started her career as â€"Pipi†on the wildly popular television series Degrassi High. Since then, she has taped two comedy specials (Comedy NOW! and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival Gala), performed at the Laughlin, Whistler, Burbank, and Winnipeg comedy festivals, and toured the country (that country being Canada) doing standup with the world’s largest chain of comedy clubs, Yuk Yuk’s. She has written, and performed on, numerous Canadian television shows, including being a series regular for four seasons on the hit sketch comedy show COMEDY INC, and is a Phil Hartman and Canadian Comedy Award winner. She is a regular sketch performer on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and can be seen in The Thundermans, The Goldbergs, Workhaholics, and as a series regular in a new sketch comedy show Now We Know by the creators of King of the Hill and Silicon Valley. Marissa Fennell is a Valley Theatre Award winning stage actress, writer, and comic. She has her BFA in Acting from AMDA the College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts and has produced plays such as Zach Braff's All New People and The Legend of Bonny Anne (both award winning). She has written and produced a number of sketches and short films but her heart truly lies in stand up. Comedian Amy Rubin THE COMEDY STUDIO, IMPROVBOSTON, BURBANK COMEDY FESTIVAL
Amy Rubin was born and raised at Disney World - actually elsewhere in rural central Florida, but close enough. She attended the University of Florida, where she lived across the street from a wild alligator. She now lives in Boston and performs comedy at Boston area venues such as The Comedy Studio and ImprovBoston and on shows including $h!tfaced Stand-Up; Pick A Side, Stupid; Comet Comedy; and the Tolman Telethon. In her spare time outside of comedy, she practices law and tap dance, but almost never at the same time. She has danced on stages and in battles along the East Coast.

Alvarado High School’s â€"Class Clown†of 1985, Kim Wadsworth is a proud Air Force veteran who uses all five of her senses to find funny wherever she goes. She is unconventional, with piercings, a Mohawk, and a sarcastic style that is uniquely her own. She performs improv and sketch comedy, as well as stand up. Kim has been seen at the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, the Dallas Comedy Festival, the Pensacola Pre-Pride Comedy Festival, and the Laugh Riot GRRRL Comedy Festival in Los Angeles. She is performing at the Burbank Comedy Festival and the Midwest Queer Comedy Festival in Cleveland Ohio in 2021. Kim grew up on her grandpa's cattle ranch outside Kansas City MO, with a horse trough swimming pool and a mean pet rooster. She performed musical theater from an early age, becoming the only Anita in West Side Story history who could not dance. Kim's show biz dreams brought her to LA in 2002, where she's spent 18 years working as a reality TV casting director. Kim made her comedy debut in the famed Pretty, Funny Women all-female comedy show, after studying the craft with PFW founder, Lisa Sundstedt. She's performed all over LA, including The Comedy Store, Flappers, and The Second City. Kim's stories encompass being a former fat girl, dating in LA, and being a "natural" beauty over 40. Nick Alexander is a threat in the funny business as Comedian/Actor/Writer. He's been a standup ten years plus having traveled around the country performing gut busting bits based on his life and coming up as Haitian American. He's never shy to be the brunt of his own jokes and follows the Richard Pryor mold for mixing self deprecating humor with original characters and voices to showcase his full repertoire. After leaving NY for Los Angeles Nick became a member of the sketch troupe Cornbread Kitchen where he wrote and performed sketches on their monthly Black Twitter Show at the world famous Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on Sunset.
