Pretty, Funny Women (PFW) began in 1995 as the first ever all-female comedy show featuring the hottest up-and-coming female comics in Los Angeles. It was created by Lisa Sundstedt, AKA the Madame of Comedy, and is now the longest running all female comedy show in the world.
Lisa produced the "Pretty, Funny Women Show" at the Hollywood Improv for more than ten years, and now clubs all over Los Angeles have been home to PWF shows. Some of the regular performers on Lisa’s shows included; Sheri Shepherd, Chelsea Handler, Tig Notaro, Retta, Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Sarah Tiana, Vicki Barbalak, and Heather McDonald.
After presenting Pretty, Funny Women Zoom Virtual Showcases during lockdown, Lisa is excited to bring Pretty, Funny Women LIVE! back to Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. We’ll see you there!

Lisa is an accomplished stand up comic, writer, singer, actress and producer. Her first professional gig was singing at Tokyo Disneyland. She spent another few months singing on a cruise ship, followed by four years on the road with the 50's rock group "Sha Na Na". In 1995, some jackass at the Hollywood Improv told her, "pretty women can�t be funny" so Lisa created "Pretty, Funny Women"...the longest running all female comedy show in the world. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Stand up in Stilettos, The Montreal and Chicago Comedy festivals and clubs across the country.. She has written on �Girls Behaving Badly�, �Chelsea Lately�, �Coach Charming� and was a producer on �Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor� for Nick Mom. She has done hundreds of national commercials and voice-overs, including campaigns for Vons/Safeway, Mattel, Ford, and Kraft. Her hobbies include gambling and, well, thats it.

Comedian Kim Clevenger
THE COMEDY STORE, FLAPPERS, THE SECOND CITY, THE COMEDY CLUB OF KC, KC IMPROV
Kim grew up on her grandpa's cattle ranch outside Kansas City MO, with a horse trough swimming pool and a mean pet rooster. She performed musical theater from an early age, becoming the only Anita in West Side Story history who could not dance. Kim's show biz dreams brought her to LA in 2002, where she's spent 18 years working as a reality TV casting director. Kim made her comedy debut in the famed Pretty, Funny Women all-female comedy show, after studying the craft with PFW founder, Lisa Sundstedt. She's performed all over LA, including The Comedy Store, Flappers, and The Second City. Kim's stories encompass being a former fat girl, dating in LA, and being a "natural" beauty over 40. She resides in NoHo with her rambunctious ChiWeenie, Dilly.

Comedian Jessica Robyn

Jessica is an Asset Manager, violinist, actress in a former life, singer, and comedian. Cannot dance to save her life.
Hailing from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Jessica was raised in an orthodox Mormon family, thus the comedy.

Lauren Vally is an actor, writer, and comedian born and raised in Los Angeles. Following in her mother�s funny footsteps, Lauren is a second-generation stand-up comic.
Lauren studied Theatre, Film, and Television at UCLA and followed that up with improv training at iO West where she became a regular performer. Lauren�s sketch team 2KSLAM produces digital sketches and hosts live variety shows. When Lauren is not performing and doing comedy she is working as a producer behind the scenes on popular and award winning shows like Ellen, CONAN, and HGTV�s House Hunters.

Comedian Jennifer Vally
STAND UP & DELIVER, COMEDY TIME, LA TIMES, GSN - WRITER,
Jennifer began her show business career at the age of 11 months when she was plucked off the streets to be a Gerber Baby.She discovered the harsh realities of show business when she was replaced one month later for being too old. Since then Jennifer has worked as a stand-up, actress, performance artist, celebrity interviewer and TV comedy writer/producer. She's written and produced hundreds of hours of television including shows for Disney, GSN, Oxygen, Fox, Spike, Fox Reality, Lifetime, NBC, CBS, EPIX, Yahoo! and the TV Guide Network. Jennifer is also featured in the book She's So Funny, a collection of jokes by female comics.

Jenny is a former professional dancer based in LA. She got her start doing standup through Lisa Sundstedt's Pretty Funny Women. Now, she travels and performs all over the country.
