Pretty, Funny Women (PFW) began in 1995 as the first ever all-female comedy show featuring the hottest up-and-coming female comics in Los Angeles. It was created by Lisa Sundstedt, AKA the Madame of Comedy, and is now the longest running all female comedy show in the world.
Lisa produced the "Pretty, Funny Women Show" at the Hollywood Improv for more than ten years, and now clubs all over Los Angeles have been home to PWF shows. Some of the regular performers on Lisa’s shows included; Sheri Shepherd, Chelsea Handler, Tig Notaro, Retta, Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Sarah Tiana, Vicki Barbalak, and Heather McDonald.
After presenting Pretty, Funny Women Zoom Virtual Showcases during lockdown, Lisa is excited to bring Pretty, Funny Women LIVE! back to Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. We’ll see you there!
PRETTY, FUNNY WOMEN is the longest running, all female stand-up comedy show in the world. Created in 1995 by comedienne and producer, LISA SUNDSTEDT (aka, The Madame of Comedy,) PFW has been seen in several venues over the past 20 years including The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, The Comedy Stop at the Trop in Atlantic City, The La Jolla Comedy Store and Flappers Comedy Club. PFW features a different line up each month and the hottest up and coming female talent in the business. These comics can be seen on network television series, national commercials and hit sitcoms. Some of the women who have performed on past PFW shows over the years are Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, Tig, Natasha Leggero, Sherri Shepherd and Heather Mc Donald. Lisa also teaches comedy classes and the PFW graduation showcases feature 10 future comedy stars hitting the stage for their very first time. Stand up comedy has never looked so good!

Comedian Erin Claire

Erin is a comedic actor from KY who moved to LA about four years ago. She recently began pursuing stand up starting with Pretty Funny Women. Erin hopes to continue pursuing stand up, as well as other forms of comedy such as sketch and improv.

Comedian Dani Colucci
PROVEN INNOCENT, EMPIRE, CHICAGO PD, MIND GAMES,
Dani is a comedian, actor, and guitarist in a Marilyn Manson cover band. She grew up as a weirdo in the Bible Belt of East Texas until she finally saved up enough money to be a weirdo in Chicago, IL until she finally saved up enough money to be another struggling actor in Los Angeles. She has performed at the Comedy Store and the Hollywood Improv in Lesley Wolff's Fresh Faces showcase. Her TV credits include: Proven Innocent, Empire, Chicago PD and Mind Games.

Comedian Cait Pool
VICE PRINCIPALS, YOUNG SHELDON, SUN RECORDS, HALT AND CATCH FIRE,
Cait Pool grew up in a small town in east Texas, graduated high school at 15, then moved to Los Angeles. Since then, she has worked on television shows such as Vice Principals (HBO) with Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, Young Sheldon (CBS), Halt and Catch Fire (AMC), and Sun Records (CMT). She is clumsy, has a terrible memory, and doesn't drink enough water. But she won a crawfish eating contest when she was 12. So suck it.

Chelsea grew up in Upstate New York, spent her early 20s in Chicago and continues to find Los Angeles weather just adorable. The improv and sketch scene in Chicago will always hold a special place in her heart but she's been delighted to learn about this stand-up business here in LA.

Mo Rodvanich is a Thai actress, UCSD MFA graduate, moved to LA in 2018. Her love for story telling and stand-up comedy from an early age has shaped who she is today. Finally she decided to stand behind a mic and share her stories too!

Comedian Liz Glazer

Liz Glazer is a standup comedian, writer, and actor who was previously a tenured law professor, a job she was very funny at. Liz has appeared on OutTV and has opened for comedians such as Myq Kaplan and Maria Bamford. Liz is the first place winner of the 2020 Boston Comedy Festival! Liz was also part of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and will be part of HBO's Women in Comedy Festival in 2021, assuming it happens. During quarantine, Liz has been staying busy reading old journal entries, getting COVID tests, and connecting with audiences (yelling into her laptop) on Zoom.

Lisa is an accomplished stand up comic, writer, singer, actress and producer. Her first professional gig was singing at Tokyo Disneyland. She spent another few months singing on a cruise ship, followed by four years on the road with the 50's rock group "Sha Na Na". In 1995, some jackass at the Hollywood Improv told her, "pretty women can�t be funny" so Lisa created "Pretty, Funny Women"...the longest running all female comedy show in the world. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Stand up in Stilettos, The Montreal and Chicago Comedy festivals and clubs across the country.. She has written on �Girls Behaving Badly�, �Chelsea Lately�, �Coach Charming� and was a producer on �Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor� for Nick Mom. She has done hundreds of national commercials and voice-overs, including campaigns for Vons/Safeway, Mattel, Ford, and Kraft. Her hobbies include gambling and, well, thats it.
