Pretty, Funny Women (PFW) began in 1995 as the first ever all-female comedy show featuring the hottest up-and-coming female comics in Los Angeles. It was created by Lisa Sundstedt, AKA the Madame of Comedy, and is now the longest running all female comedy show in the world.
Lisa produced the "Pretty, Funny Women Show" at the Hollywood Improv for more than ten years, and now clubs all over Los Angeles have been home to PWF shows. Some of the regular performers on Lisa’s shows included; Sheri Shepherd, Chelsea Handler, Tig Notaro, Retta, Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Sarah Tiana, Vicki Barbalak, and Heather McDonald.
After presenting Pretty, Funny Women Zoom Virtual Showcases during lockdown, Lisa is excited to bring Pretty, Funny Women LIVE! back to Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. We’ll see you there!

Crawford won “Burbank’s Funniest Female; was chosen as a finalist for the Laugh Factory’s “Fresh Face;” and was a Semi-Finalist at the World Series of Comedy. She offers audiences a refreshing female view on life.

Comedian Kim Clevenger
THE COMEDY STORE, FLAPPERS, THE SECOND CITY, THE COMEDY CLUB OF KC, KC IMPROV
Kim grew up on her grandpa's cattle ranch outside Kansas City MO, with a horse trough swimming pool and a mean pet rooster. She performed musical theater from an early age, becoming the only Anita in West Side Story history who could not dance. Kim's show biz dreams brought her to LA in 2002, where she's spent 18 years working as a reality TV casting director. Kim made her comedy debut in the famed Pretty, Funny Women all-female comedy show, after studying the craft with PFW founder, Lisa Sundstedt. She's performed all over LA, including The Comedy Store, Flappers, and The Second City. Kim's stories encompass being a former fat girl, dating in LA, and being a "natural" beauty over 40. She resides in NoHo with her rambunctious ChiWeenie, Dilly.

Comedian Asher Mac

Asher Mac is a stand-up comedienne who has performed throughout Southern California. She is a member of the Misfit Toys Comedy Studio and contributor to weekly podcasts, The Panel and The Panel: Woman Up. Using anecdotal and character comedy, she discusses marriage, sexuality, and her frequent bouts with neuroticism. Asher grew up in Kansas where she met her partner and fellow comedienne, Cassidy Stains. Asher and Cassidy moved to California before marriage equality was cool.
They currently reside in San Diego, CA with their two dogs.

Cassidy Stains is a queer comedian and long-time San Diegan, originally from Wichita, KS. In January 2020 she made her first booked appearance in stand-up at The Comedy Palace in San Diego, CA. Cassidy began her career with her partner and fellow comic, Asher Mac, after completing a comedy course directed by Gordon Downs, Bijan Mostafavi and Jesse Egan. Stains’ comedy will take you through the life and challenges of a young LGBTQIA+ woman discovering who she is while exploring current issues. Cassidy leans in on â€"gotcha†story-telling and bizarre topics. Cassidy is a member of the Misfit Toys Comedy Studio and is a contributor to weekly podcast The Panel and The Panel: Woman Up.
