Pretty, Funny Women (PFW) began in 1995 as the first ever all-female comedy show featuring the hottest up-and-coming female comics in Los Angeles. It was created by Lisa Sundstedt, AKA the Madame of Comedy, and is now the longest running all female comedy show in the world.
Lisa produced the "Pretty, Funny Women Show" at the Hollywood Improv for more than ten years, and now clubs all over Los Angeles have been home to PWF shows. Some of the regular performers on Lisa’s shows included; Sheri Shepherd, Chelsea Handler, Tig Notaro, Retta, Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Sarah Tiana, Vicki Barbalak, and Heather McDonald.
After presenting Pretty, Funny Women Zoom Virtual Showcases during lockdown, Lisa is excited to bring Pretty, Funny Women LIVE! back to Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. We’ll see you there!

Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory and Ice House. Her stand-up clips have garnered millions of views. Crawford won “Burbank’s Funniest Female; was chosen as a finalist for the Laugh Factory’s “Fresh Face;” and was a Semi-Finalist at the World Series of Comedy. She offers audiences a refreshing female view on life.

Lisa is an accomplished stand up comic, writer, singer, actress and producer. Her first professional gig was singing at Tokyo Disneyland. She spent another few months singing on a cruise ship, followed by four years on the road with the 50's rock group "Sha Na Na". In 1995, some jackass at the Hollywood Improv told her, "pretty women can�t be funny" so Lisa created "Pretty, Funny Women"...the longest running all female comedy show in the world. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Stand up in Stilettos, The Montreal and Chicago Comedy festivals and clubs across the country.. She has written on �Girls Behaving Badly�, �Chelsea Lately�, �Coach Charming� and was a producer on �Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor� for Nick Mom. She has done hundreds of national commercials and voice-overs, including campaigns for Vons/Safeway, Mattel, Ford, and Kraft. Her hobbies include gambling and, well, thats it.

Antonia Lassar is a Jewish, bisexual, chronically ill comedian/actor/hot person based in LA. She's best known for her viral tiktoks about Jewish life. Antonia has toured venues like New Repertory Theatre, Yale, UC Berkeley, and Smith College, and she has been featured by Autostraddle, Marie Claire, and Glamour Magazine. She has been a member of multiple UCB house teams, and she regularly performs standup around LA and at your mom's synagogue.

Born & raised in LA, Sammy Weiser is as hilarious (and high) as it gets. From improv at The Groundlings, to sketch comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade, to her main focus, standup- she’s truly done it all. You’ve seen her perform all over LA (The Hollywood Improv, regularly closing out shows in the Belly room of The Comedy Store, Flappers main room). She’s been described as “a bit much” and actually has a BFA in comedy from Emerson College, so she’s certifiably funny. Sammy currently runs her own standup show (The Sweiser Show) at The Crow and works for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg on their upcoming series Sausage Party TV

Ama Konadu is a fresh-faced stand-up comic and 1 out of the 60 Black people from Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. She's a graduate of Pretty Funny Women who is still trying to figure out if she's just pretty, just funny, or both (neither isn't an option). You come be the judge. She's using comedy to heal from her hoarding Virgo mother, her mute, avoidant West African father, and all the men she's dated with dirty toilets and receding hairlines. She's dark. She's nerdy. She's cringey...and she's also an anxious chewer - so, when she's not on stage, she's naked, in bed deep-throating Hi-Chew.

LA-based comic Gini Sikes has appeared at Flappers, The Comedy Chateau, The Comedy Store — and multiple crime scenes. A crime reporter with a Masters from Columbia University, Sikes has investigated everything from drug mules to murderous beauty queens. She’s written and produced for PBS, MTV, Investigation Discovery, The Washington Post, Essence, The New York Times, and more. Her book, 8ball Chicks, chronicles a year spent with girl gangs. She co-wrote/produced the award-winning documentary, Equal Means Equal. Hailing from small town Wisconsin, when not pondering world evil, this self-proclaimed pessimistic Pollyanna performs comedy to make sense of it all.
